Ahmad Reza Khan posted as Chief Collector KPK

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has posted Ahmad Reza Khan a customs officer of BS-21 as Chief Collector Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa (KPK) with immediate effect.

Sources informed Customs Today that the decision of separating KPK from jurisdiction of Chief Collector North was long awaiting but now after assuming charge of FBR Chairman, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmad, the FBR have took decision to appoint separate Chief Collector of KPK.

The sources informed that previously KPK was operationalized under the jurisdiction of Chief Collector North which comprises KPK, Islamabad Gilgit Baltistan and Sialkot,

Earlier, FBR have issued orders for transfer and posting of six officers of BS-20 and BS-21 to different important passions including Chief Collector KPK.

Ahmad Reza Khan (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) previously working at Director General, Directorate General of Transit Trade Karachi has been transferred and posted as Chief Collector KPK.

Moreover, Ms. Suraiya Ahmed Butt (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) has been transferred from Chief Collector of Customs, Appraisement (South), Karachi and posted as Director General, Directorate General of Training & Research(Customs), Karachi.

Dr. Fareed Iqbal Qureshi (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) transferred from Director General, Directorate General of Training & Research to (Customs), Karachi and posted as Director General, Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi, the officer in addition to his own duties shall hold additional charge of post of Director General, Directorate General of Risk Management, Karachi.

Wajid Ali (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) transferred from Director General, Directorate General of Reforms & Automation (Customs), Islamabad has transferred to Chief Collector of Customs South Karachi.

Ms. Shahnaz Maqbool (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) previously working as Director General, Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi has transferred and posted as Member, Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad.

Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-20) Member, (OPS) Federal Board of Revenue (Hq), Islamabad (Stationed at Karachi) has been transferred to Director General, (OPS) Directorate General of Transit Trade, Karachi.

The Officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting.

All above listed officers are requested to Relinquish/Assume charge, using online HRMS facility made available to FBR or by using their IJP logins.
