Following the directives, the AIB started the scrutiny of the post clearance import data from 2012 to 2015. Scrutinizing the above-mentioned data, the Customs authorities found that the importers, including M/s Standard Enterprises, M/s Waheed Limited and M/s Pak Tyres Corporation, were involved in tax evasion of Rs 90 million altogether.

The authorities found that the importers had cleared around 100 consignments from 2012 to 2015 while using wrong PCT Heading.
