HARARE: Air Zimbabwe is facing yet another crisis with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Dr Obert Mpofu confirming that the airline has run out of Jet A1 fuel.
AirThe minister confirmed the development to the State media while raising fears that Air Zimbabwe might have to resort to seeking assistance from regional neighbours if its stocks have run dry.
Dr Mpofu also warned that while frantically trying to address the fuel crisis, several Air Zimbabwe flights will be affected and passengers inconvenienced.
Experts say the absence of a strategic leadership, a tainted image and other legacy issues have been identified as the major set-backs to turning around the fortunes of Air Zimbabwe.
