AJK govt to encourage private sector to promote tourism

MIRPUR: Azad Jammu & Kashmir government has decided to encourage private sector for promotion of tourism in the region under private-public sector partnership programme.

Official sources told APP here Friday that AJK Council, upper house of the AJK Parliament has allocated funds for construction of 110 km long main and link roads and the establishment of Tourists Resorts at the scenic sites of the picturesque AJK territory. The tourists resorts to be furnished with the latest facilities would be would be constructed at Chakkar, Lasdana, Ganga Chuti, Toli Peer, Divi Galli and other places, they added.
