AJK IR extends date of filing of income tax returns up to October 15

MIRPUR: Inland Revenue Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) Commissioner issued notification for extension in date of filing of income tax returns, statements for Tax Year 2019.

The notification reads that the competent authority i.e. commissioner Inland Revenue Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) in exercise of powers vested under relevant provision of income tax laws has been pleased to extend the date of filing of income tax returns, statements for the Tax Year 2019 as under:-

The date of filing of returns of total income, statement of final taxation which were due on September 30, 2019 is hereby extended up to October 15, 2019.

The date of filing of returns of total income and statements of final taxation for companies (availing special taxes years). Individuals and association of persons which were due on 30th September, 2019 is hereby extended up to October 145, 2019.

All officers of Inland Revenue (Direct Taxes) AJ&K are directed to inform the taxpayers and general public accordingly.
