LAHORE: Director Region B Akram Ashraf Gonal has assumed the additional charge of director general Excise as Ahmad Aziz Tarar has been transferred to the federal government.
According to a notification, Excise Secretary Ali Tahir issued a notification to assign additional charge of DG Excise to Akram Ashraf Gondal. Gonal assumed the charge of new assignment and met office staff of the Shadman Directorate to discuss work plan and suggest some proposals for its betterment.
Akram Ashraf Gonal is working in Lahore since January 2015. He also served as Director Region A where his performance was excellent. He also showed outstanding output in collections of taxes during fiscal year 2014-15.
