Algeria invites Pakistani firms to participate in 57th Int’l Trade Fair

ISLAMABAD: Algeria has invited Pakistani businesses and trade bodies to participate in the 57th Algiers International Fair 2026, terming it a significant opportunity to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement issued here by the Algerian Embassy on Tuesday, the fair will be held in Algiers from June 22 to 27, 2026 under the patronage of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with Spain participating as the guest of honor.

Described as one of the largest economic exhibitions in Africa and the Arab world, the Algiers International Fair offers a vital platform to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two brotherly countries, Algeria and Pakistan.

The previous edition of the fair in 2025 witnessed strong international participation, featuring 684 companies, including 145 foreign firms from 31 countries, reflecting its growing global significance.

The event is being organized by SAFEX Group, a leading public-sector entity operating under Algeria’s Ministry of Internal Trade and National Market Regulation. SAFEX organizes over 50 national and international exhibitions annually, offering comprehensive support to participants, including logistics and promotion services.
