NEW DELHI: All eyes are fixed at Xiaomi’s product launch event today, the teaser of which was published by the Chinese smartphone giant a few days back. While many have speculated that the upcoming product would be the Mi 5, Xiaomi’s latest tweets have a different story to tell.

Xiaomi has posted another teaser image on Twitter about a ‘new Mi product’ that will have a ‘build quality that’s top of its range.’

While the image doesn’t quite look like a smartphone, the thin yet sharp edges hint at the company’s possible venture into the television segment with a smart TV.

A third teaser followed soon after with a Mi Box Mini with a USB mini port connected plug with a tag that read ‘Something redesigned from head to tail. Any guesses?’

The two teasers are clearly indicative of a smart LED TV set, likely to be with a 4K UHD resolution and an accompanying set-top-box, which was released earlier this year.

Watch this space to know what exactly the company has in store for consumers today.
