FAISALABAD: All the Inland Revenue offices will remain open on December 28th-Friday and December 29-Saturday for collection of duties and taxes.
Sources told Customs Today that Secretary Muhammad Mutiur Rehman Mumtaz has issued a special Notification No: 1(8)Rev-Bud/2014 which describes that the offices will also observe extended working hours till 10: 00 pm on Friday and 12 midnight on Saturday.
The Chief Commissioners have also been directed to establish liaison with the State Bank of Pakistan and authorized branches of the National Bank of Pakistan to ensure transfer of tax collection by these branches before or on December 29-09-2017 to respective offices of the State Bank of Pakistan ( SBT ) on the same date so as to account for the same towards the collection for the month of December 2017.
