Will take all possible measures to resolve issues of FCAG : Collector Asif Saeed Lughmani

PESHAWAR: Collector Customs Preventive Asif Saeed Lughmani and Collector Appraisement Ihsan Ali Shah assured the delegation of Frontier Customs Agents Group(FCAG)  that all their genuine demands will be considered and he will try to resolve the issues being faced by customs agents on priority basis.

Earlier a delegation of Frontier Customs Agents Group (FCAG) led by Senior Vice President Khalid  Shahzad which also Shahzad, Imtiaz Ahmed Ali, Asif Jamal General Secretary Mian Waheed Bacha executive members Naumanul Haq, Nasir Shinwari, Javed Khan, Azam Sharif, Amar Ansari and Haji Mohammad Azam called on Collector Preventive Asif Saeed Khan Lughmani and Collector Appraisement  Ihsan Ali Shah in their offices separately and congratulated them on assuming the charge of collector.

Director Transit Trade Faiz Ali and Additional Director Transit Trade Faisal Bukhari was also present during the meeting. Ziaul Haq Sarhadi appraised the newly posted collectors about the issues being faced by customs agents at Torkham border, dry port, airport, and Afghan transit trade.

The delegation informed the newly posted collectors that operations of Peshawar Dry Port almost comes to standstill as Pakistan Railways halted their services from the last nine years. The delegation appealed to solve the outstanding issues of Aza Khel Dry Port and Peshawar Dry Port. Both collectors assured that they will take every possible measure to solve their genuine demands.
