ISLAMABAD: All stations of the Customs Collectorate Islamabad received surplus revenue of Rs62.01million as Customs Duty during first 15 days of November Financial Year 2017-18 against the revenue collection under the same head during the corresponding November of Financial Year 2016-17.
According to details explained by sources of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad that, during first 1 5 days of current month of November FY17-18, all the stations, comprising (Islamabad Dry port (IDP), Air Freight Unit (AFU), C. Bond, Unaccompanied Baggage (UAB), Accompanied Baggage (AB) and International Mail Office (IMO) working under the umbrella of MCC Islamabad, showed satisfactory performance of CD.
Sources told CT that, during above said period, the IDP collected Rs94.95million as CD while it did Rs164.50million during the same period of corresponding November FY16-18. Sources added that, during first 15 days of November FY17-18, the AFU Islamabad earned Rs185.20million of CD whereas it did Rs53.28million during the same period of FY16-17 as CD.
During 1st to 15 November FY17-18, the UAB got Rs0.32million as CD while it did Rs0.68million under the same head during first 15 days of November FY16-17. The Customs Stations AB generated Rs0.96million of CD during first 15 days of November FY17-18 whereas it did Rs1.07million during the same period of FY16-17. The Customs IMO Islamabad received Rs0.29million as CD during 15 days of November while it did Rs0.17million of CD during the same period of FY16-17.
