Peshawar customs’ stations receive Rs463.42m Sales Tax during January

ISLAMABAD: All the stations of the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar collected Rs436.42million Sales Tax (ST) during January’s Financial Year (FY) 2016-17.

According to Additional Collector Fazle Samad, all the customs stations, working under the umbrella of the MCC Peshawar, generated handsome amount under the head of ST during the said period.

During said period, the Dry Port Peshawar earned Rs253.75million whereas the Bonded WareHouse Peshawar did Rs.6.08million ST. During above said period, the Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar collected Rs3.88million revenue while the Gadoon Industrial Zone received Rs0.04million revenue.

During January FY16-17, the Kohat State Ware House got Rs5.52million Sales Tax while Torkham Customs Station collected Rs161.7million Customs Duty (CT). During same period, the Auction Cell generated Rs2.73million Customs Dauty.

During January FY2016-17, the State Ware House Peshawar collected Rs1.61million and the Assessment Cell did R0.06million under the above said head. The International Mail Office (IMO) Peshawar generated Rs0.06million Sales Tax.

The Customs Station Khapakh got revenue of Rs0.13million Sales Tax as whereas Kohat Auction Cell received Rs0.07million Sales Tax during January FY16-17.
