WASHINGTON: After years of speculation, and the failure of first version of the Fire Phone, Amazon is all set to hit the market with its improved version “Fire Phone 2”.
The determination of Amazon is worth admiring despite of its first attempt floundered badly they are again ready to tap the mobile market with its new and improved “Fire Phone 2” in near future. Although critics comments that Amazon should give up after its first failure but we believe that Amazon has right mix to come back again.
Price was one of the reasons for the populace’s reception of the first phone. The smartphone was first sold in June for $649. Buyers weren’t convinced, as the Fire Phone could not top similar priced phones such as the iPhone. Two months later, people could buy the unlocked version for less than 230$. It can also be bought for $0.99 on contract. This parity in price becomes the main reason for its failure.
