American Airlines will begin this weekend direct charter flights between Los Angeles and Havana, said Cuba Travel Services (CTS).
CTS announced last week a second weekly trip by JetBlue on Tuesdays, linking the cities of New York and Havana. The new CTS charter flight with American Airlines will take place on Saturdays on a Boeing 737-800.
CTS currently manages flights of American Airlines, JetBlue and XTRA Airways, from Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Tampa to Havana, Cienfuegos, Santa Clara, Camaguey, Holguin and Santiago de Cuba.
