NEW YORK:The award-winning American Chamber of Commerce in South China (AmCham South China) delegation to the 2015 China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) arrived in Xiamen and is ready for another fruitful year at the fair. Since earning a “CIFIT Great Contribution” award in 2006, the 13-year-old delegation has grown considerably and has, each consecutive year, continued to smash its own records for investment volume. This year’s group, again led by AmCham South China President Harley Seyedin, includes over 150 individuals, including a group of entrepreneurs coming from the United States aiming to explore potential investment opportunities.

Since 2010 the delegation has consistently signed deals at the fair worth more than $2 billion; this year Mr. Seyedin anticipates even higher levels of success in investment volume over three days.Over the fair’s three days of activities the delegation will also meet with senior leaders from across the nation, including provincial-level representatives from Fujian, Hunan, and others, and will also pay its first visit to the newly establish Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone and inspect the investment environment there.

President Harley said “the success of our delegation each and every year for the past 12 years has been due to the excellent organization and the high quality of arrangement and service provided by the CIFIT Organizing Committee. Because of the level of excellence of service, the quality of the arrangements, and the number of attendees from around the world, CIFIT has become a window of cross-investment to the world and there is no other investment and trade fair which can match CIFIT. I want to offer my congratulations to the Fujian and Xiamen leaders and the CIFIT organizing Committee for undertaking and delivering this highest level or professional excellence which brings us to the beautiful city of Xiamen every year.”
