GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP: Machine Systems Inc. plans to invest $2 million to build a 41,250 square foot manufacturing facility in the Georgetown Industrial Center.
The machine manufacturer serving the pallet industry also expects to add 12 new positions over the next two years.
“This is an important step forward for our company,” said Kris Chayer, founder and president of the 18-year-old company, located at 6726 Roger Drive, in Georgetown Township. “Our new building will allow us to grow the business by creating efficiencies and expansion opportunities for many years to come.”
Lakeshore Advantage worked with AMS on its growth plans.

The company is requesting a 12-year tax break from the township on $1.6 million of the investment.
