LAHORE: A Special Court of Anti-Narcotics Lahore has sentenced two drug pedlars to six months imprisonment and a fine of 20,000 on each of them.
According to details, Shamas al Amin and his accomplice Asif Ali were arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force in 2013 from Minar-e-Pakistan Badami Bagh area of Lahore. The ANF checked the passengers and recovered 14 kilogram of heroin from the possession of Shamas and Asif Ali. The Anti-Narcotics Force arrested them and started investigation against them.
Now after court trial the Special Court of Anti-Narcotics has sent both of the accused to jail for six months and imposed a penalty of Rs 20,000 each. In case of failure in payment of fine they may face more jail imprisonment as well.
ANF presented a complete challan before the Court that they have recovered 14 kilograms heroin from their possession.
