LONDON: Back at the start of November Google uploaded and made available Android 5.0 (Lollipop) to the AOSP. Not to mention, Google released the factory images for all the Nexus devices so that those who could not wait for their OTA updates, were able to get them earlier. Simply, pull the image, flash the image and enjoy the taste of Lollipop.
Then at the start of December, Google again began to roll-out updates to Lollipop for the Nexus devices in the form of Android 5.0.1. This was an incremental update, but for those who had the odd bug and wanted the factory images, they were made available. You can click here to head back to December’s post if for whatever reason you did not manage to get your 5.0.1 update already.
Well, January is here and right on cue we are now starting to see the next incremental update for nexus devices rolling out in the form of Android 5.0.2. As per usual, if you are someone who cannot wait for your OTA then you do not have to.
