The Android 5.0 Lollipop update will come for the Xperia Z2 device sometime in February 2015, most likely after the Xperia Z3 will get the update. Since Xperia Z1 is a pretty old device, it will receive the update after these two devices will get it, probably a few months later, after Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 will get the update.

Motorola Moto G 2013 and Moto G 2014

The Android 5.0 Lollipop has been released for Moto G 2014 on November 2014. This update has been released for both the international and U.S. edition of Moto G 2014. However, it is known that many users from all over the world have not yet received the update and until now Motorola has not revealed any information of what’s happening.

Moto X, whether if it’s the original version or the one that was released through Verizon, is already running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. However Moto X 2013, Moto E, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini and Droid Ultra are still waiting for the Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Some rumours said that the HTC One M8 will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update on January 3, but that didn’t happen. New rumours appeared in between and they’re saying that this device will receive the update in the next one-two weeks, but the U.S. carriers will have to wait a bit more for it.

The devices that come under the HTC Advantage program will also receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Some of these devices that are included in this program are: HTC One Max, HTC One Mini, HTC One E8 and HTC One Remix.
