NEW YORK: On social networking site Reddit, several users wrote they could not log in and some thought that their account had been hacked. Those who tried to log into Twitter were met with an error message and they will not be able to get access to their account.
All Twitter apps for Android, Echofon, and Twitterific are also facing the problems. Tweet Deck users even reported seeing tweets that were over a year old.
According to TechCrunch, Twitter confirmed fixing the issues on its status blog.
“Some users are currently having trouble signing in to Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve this,” the micro blogging site said.
Twitter’s iOS app and Tweet bot for iPad are reportedly working properly.
