PESHAWAR: At least 16 alleged drug sellers were arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Forces (ANF) and Jamrud Political Administration in anti-narcotics campaign launched here in Wazir Dand area of tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency.
Tehsildar Jamrud Asmatullah, while sharing the details said, a Khasadar party under his supervision raided different markets and shops in Wazirdand and arrested 17 alleged drug dealers. The detained persons were sent to Jamrud lock up for investigation.
The administration official said that no one would be permit to carry out illegal business in the area and the operation against the malpractices would be continued till elimination of it.
It is pertinent to mention here that couple of days back the administration has also busted a gang of drug dealers, where huge caches of narcotics were recovered from their possession.
