LAHORE: An air-hostess of Pakistan International Airlines has been arrested while trying to smuggle gold to the United States from Allama Iqbal International Airport.
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Tuesday arrested air-hostess Nuzhat Bukhari, who was on duty on New York-bound PIA flight. Before boarding the flight, her luggage was searched from which two kilograms gold was recovered. The ANF personnel seized the gold and took woman into custody. The value of the gold is stated to be millions of rupees in the international market. Further, investigations are underway.
