LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force Lahore has intercepted several vehicles at different points and recovered more than six kilogram of narcotics.
During a routine check, the ANF Lahore’s Road Check Team intercepted a Toyota Carolla Car No: RA-413 and Motorcycle Yamaha No: LXD-9468 near Choras Tank, Green Town, and recovered 2.4 kg hashish from the vehicle and arrested two persons named Naveed Khan, a resident of Kohat, and Muhammad Sajid Khan, a resident of Lahore.
In another operation, the ANF Lahore recovered two kg hashish from the possession of accused named Mumtaz, a resident of Mardan, and arrested him from near Jamia Masjid, Sargodha Road, Faisalabad.
In some another action, the ANF recovered 300 gram heroin from the possession of an accused named Behram Khan, a resident of Khyber Agency. Accused was travelling in a Hiace (passenger vehicle) and was arrested from near Motorway Toll Plaza.
In yet another operation, the ANF recovered 4.4 kg hashish from the possession of an accused named Mukhtiar Ahmed, a resident of Muzzaffargarh, travelling in a Hiace (passenger vehicle). He was arrested from near Motorway Toll Plaza Peshawar.
All the cases have been registered at the respective ANF police stations and further investigations are underway.
