ANF Court awards jail term to two drug peddlers

LAHORE: Special Judge Anti-Narcotics Court Khalid Nawaz awards jail term to two accused persons who was involved in smuggling of heroin to Dubai.

According to details a case was registered against accused Mohammad Waris and Mohammad Khalid in 2013 when they were trying to smuggle 10 kilos and 500 grams of heroin through airport cargo to Dubai.

ANF team successfully seized the heroin which were hidden inside the T-shirts cartons. After seizure ANF authorities filed a case against the accused persons. During investigations they confess that T-shirts cartons belong to Mohammad Khalid while Mohammad Waris hide the heroin.

Now Court announce its judgment awarding fourteen years jail to Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Waris both accused persons will also to liable to pay Rs 2 lakh fine. In case of non payment of fine both accused have to face jail term for another year.
