ANF foils attempt to smuggle hashish in educational institutions

KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has thwarted an attempt to smuggle hashish in different colleges and universities of the city. The ANF authorities seized 1,000 kilograms of hashish from a truck. The driver of the truck tried to flee from the scene but the ANF team succeeded in arresting him.

Sources told Customs Today that ANF authorities received information regarding smuggling of hashish to colleges, and universities. Soon after receiving the information, the ANF constituted a raiding team which intercepted a truck and seized 1,000 kilograms of hashish. During initial investigation, the driver of the vehicle revealed that he was going to supply hashish to different colleges and universities.
