ANF foils attempt to smuggle heroin from Lahore airport

LAHORE: The Anti Narcotics Force claimed to foil an attempt to smuggle heroin from Lahore to Saudi Arabia.

According to sources of Customs Today anti narcotics officials during routine checking intercepted a passenger and recovered 1.5 kilograms heroin from his luggage. The heroin was hidden in secret pockets of the bag. Sources told that accused who was later identified as Muhammad Shahid belonged to Sargodha and he was traveling for Riyadh of Saudi Arabia.
