ANF foils bid to smuggle heroin, arrests Nigerian citizen

ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) has foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin to Nigeria at Banazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad and arrested a Nigerian citizen on the spot.

According to details, the Anti-Narcotic Force recovered capsules full of heroin from the Nigerian citizen who was identified as Meko Madu Peter.

Sources told that ANF personnel got suspicious when the passenger arrived at the departure lounge during checking and search of passengers of private airlines flight no WY- 348.

The ANF sources said that the accused wanted to smuggle heroin to Nigeria as the flight was ready to fly while all his documents were legal and he came to Pakistan for a visit.
