ANF foils bid to smuggle heroin to Dubai

ISLAMABAD: Anti-Narcotic Force has foiled an attempt of smuggling heroin to Dubai at Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad and arrested one Siraj son of  Alamgir.

According to details, the Anti-Narcotic Force has recovered heroin-filled capsules from the stomach of the suspect. Siraj is a resident of Kohestan and was about to board private airline’s flight no NL-221. During investigations from accused, he confessed to his crime.

The airport sources added that the accused used that dangerous method for smuggling heroin to Dubai. As the flight no NL-221 was ready to fly for Dubai from Islamabad.

It is important to mention here that smugglers have change the techniques of smuggling. They used hide cocaine and heroin inside children’s sweets, consignments of fruits or under wheelchair seats.
