ANF foils bid to smuggle huge quantity of narcotics from KICT

KARACHI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized 10 kilograms of “Methemphatamine (ice) from a container destined to Jabel Ali port, United Arab Emirates.

Sources said that acting upon a source information ANF PCU team deputed at Karachi International Container Terminal Port Karachi intercepted a container no GLDU0870085, containing “consolidated Textile Goods” destined to Jabel Ali port, Dubai.

During thorough physical examination of cargo and container 10 kg approximately “Methemphatamine (Ice)” and  “ 10.5 kilograms approximately heroin recovered which were tactfully concealed in 52 standing pipes of 25 tents (canvases).

ANF team said that these narcotics were being export by Exporter: Ayesha Impex, L-25C Block 22, FB Area North Karachi to Deira Trading Centre LLC, Warehouse no 06 Safetex Complex New Industrial Area 2, UAE. Four accused has been arrested so far, while further investigations are still in progress till the filing of this report.
