ANF foils bid to smuggle narcotics from Bacha Khan Airport

PESHAWAR: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested an accused person namely Shah Sarwar Khan resident of Bannu at Bacha Khan International Airport, and recovered 1.15 kilograms hashish which was concealed in his trolley bag. He was travelling to Sharjah through flight no: PA-612.

ANF also arrested accused namely Waheedullah resident of Bannu from Peshawar Airport.

In another operation, ANF Peshawar intercepted a Toyota Corolla car at Shin Qamar Check Post and recovered 8.4 kilogram hashish which was tactfully concealed in dashboard of the said car.

A person onboard namely Abdullah resident of District Khyber was arrested during the operation while  ANF Peshawar in collaboration with FCIU and Police conducted an intelligence based operation at Jabba and recovered 12 kilograms opium & 71 kilograms hashish along with one SMG with 7 Magazines, 147- rounds one Bandoliers.

Beside this they also seized 78 rounds of 303 rifle, two Pistol 30 Bore with 4 Magazines & 23  rounds, 2 bandolier of pistol, 12 Bore (repeater) gun with magazine and four rounds,, five rounds of 9 mm pistol and 303 rifle with barrel. Resultantly three accused persons identified as Hashim Khan, Rehman Shah and Subhan Ullah all residents of district Khyber were arrested during the operation.
