ANF foils drug smuggling bid at Karachi airport

KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) deputed at the Jinnah International Air Port apprehended a passenger and recovered huge quantity of drugs from his possession.

According to the details, the ANF officials intercepted a passenger at the airport and foiled the bid to smuggle drugs. During the search of the passenger’s luggage, the officials recovered 5 kilogram opium.

The opium was kept in the secret places of the bags, which the culprit wanted to smuggle to a foreign country as he was travelling from Karachi to Doha.

According to the ANF officials, the raids were being carried out across the country to bust the gangs involved in the smuggling.
