LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Saturday foiled crystal heroin smuggling bid here at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
The ANF staff during checking intercepted a passenger Nadir Muhabbat Shah and recovered 700 grams of crystal heroin hidden in his luggage in a very technical way. Passenger was travelling from Lahore to Jeddah via PIA Flight Pk-725.
Following the recovery of narcotics, the ANF arrested the passenger. The value of the seized heroin has been estimated at Rs 90 million in international market. The ANF has shifted the accused to unknown place for further interrogation.
