PESHAWAR: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Peshawar chapter, in a crackdown at Bacha Khan International Airport, arrested a drug smuggler and recovered 126 capsules of heroin from his possession on Monday.
According to sources, on a tip-off, the Airport Security Forces and Anti-Narcotics Force searched the luggage of a passenger who was a resident of Toba Tek Singh while on the way to Sharjah from Bacha Khan International Airport. During checking, 126 capsules were found from the hidden cavities of the suitcase.
The personnel of Anti-Narcotics Force shifted the arrested persons to lock up and started further investigation. It is possible that heroine is taken from lawless tribal areas of Jamrud where hashish and heroine business is on the rise.
