ANF recovers 10 kg drugs from container

KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 10 kg drugs during a raid conducted over Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT).

In an intelligence based operation along the coastal areas, officers of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) intercepted a container at the Pakistan International Container Terminal (PICT).

During the search of the container, officers of the-Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 10 kilogram of drugs concealed in the Paver Tiles.

The source informed Custom Today that the recovered drugs include four and a half kilograms of heroin as well as five and a half kilograms of Methamphetamine called Ice worth millions of rupees in the international market. The recovered drugs were being smuggled to a foreign country through sea route.

Raids are also being conducted in various areas of the country to apprehend the gang involved in the crime. Further investigation is under progress.
