ANF recovers 17kg drugs, arrests 4

ISLAMABAD: Anti Narcotics Force seized 17 kg of drugs and arrested 4 culprits during its raids at airport, highways and bus stands.
As per details, ANF has conducted raids in Islamabad, Faisalabad and Lahore and recovered 17kg capsules filled with charas and heroine. ANF also arrested 4 culprits and confiscated their vehicle.
At main motorway tool plaza Lahore ANF, on tip of informer recovered 12 kg charas secretly hidden inside a vehicle with registration number LEE-8348. It arrested the culprit named Adnan Ahmad s/o Pervaiz r/o Peshawar and seized his vehicle.
In second raid, ANF has recovered 4.8 kg of charas from Jamil s/o Shaad Muhammad r/o Khayber Agency and arrested him.
Rawalpindi ANF arrested two passengers Muhammad Ashraf s/o Abdul Ghafoor r/o Guranawala and Muhammad Farooq s/o Muhammad Ashraf r/o Okara from Benazir International Airport on suspicion of drugs in their custody. After initial investigation the accused admitted that they have capsules filled with heroine in their stomach. They were travelling in flight TG-350 destined to Gowanzy through Bankok.
ANF has lodged FIR in all three cases and started investigations further.
