ANF recovers 23.9 kg charas; arrests three

RAWALPINDI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered 23.9 kilogram charas by arresting three drug peddlers.

According to the details, ANF, Rawalpindi in information based operation at Mullah Mansoor, GT Road, Attock, recovered 20 kg charas on intercepting a Toyota Hiace bearing Registered No. LES-8610, said a press release.

A person named Noshad Khan, resident of Peshawar was also arrested during the operation. Charas was concealed in the secret cavities of the vehicle which was being smuggled to Punjab.

ANF Rawalpindi team also arrested two local drug suppliers and recovered 3.9 kg charas from their possession.

The accused were identifies as Raja Shadran and Waqas Ahmed, both residents of Rawalpindi. They were arrested near Khana Pull, Islamabad while going for drug delivery on motorcycle.

Cases have been registered at ANF Police Stations and further investigations are under process.
