ANF recovers 8kg heroin, 45kg charas, arrests two suspects

Lahore: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has foiled a bid to smuggle huge quantity of heroin and charas from Lahore to Rawalpindi.

According to the sources, an ANF team checked a car at Motorway Kala Shah Kaku and found huge quantity of narcotics. Total narcotics recovered from the spot include eight kilogram heroin and 45 kilogram charas.

The ANF also arrested two persons on the spot and shifted them to an unidentified location for further investigation and prosecution. A case has been registered against the driver of the car and his colleague. The ANF is very active against drug mafia now days and has successfully raided in number of hide outs of the peddlers. During current week ANF has recovered large quantity of narcotics from Okara and Lahore as well.
