Narcotics - Weed - Charas

ANF recovers huge quantity of narcotics during four operations

PESHAWAR: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted two separate operations at Peshawar International Airport and arrested two accused persons namely Syed Shams ul Haq and Muhammad Iqbal both resident of Nowshera and recovered 1.275 kilograms methamphetamine (ice) and 1.5 kilograms methamphetamine (ice) respectively which was tactfully concealed in their briefcase and travelling bag.

According to the details, accused were travelling to Jeddah through via flight no PA-670. In another operation, ANF Peshawar intercepted a Suzuki Cultus near Kohat Bridge, Ring Road and recovered 67.2 kilogram opium and 16.8 kilogram hashish from trunk of the said vehicle.

A person onboard namely Asim Raza resident of Kohat was arrested on the spot. In third operation, ANF Peshawar arrested an accused namely Ali Sher resident of Buner at Peshawar International Airport and recovered 1.850 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice) which was concealed in his bag. He was boarding for Jeddah by Flight No SV-797. In fourth operation, ANF Peshawar intercepted a Doha bound parcel from cargo terminal located at Peshawar International Airport and recovered 560 gram hashish which was concealed in 10 trousers.
