ANF recovers narcotics worth Rs196m in different operations

PESHAWAR: Anti Narcotics Force has recovered 163 kilograms drugs valuing Rs196 million, during 13 different operations carried out across the country.

According to ANF sources the operations also resulted in apprehension of 14 accused persons involved in smuggling of narcotics and seizure of non duty paid vehicles which were being used for smuggling of narcotics.

Intelligence based successful operations were carried out in Pishin, Qilla Abdulla, Rawalpindi , Attock, Sialkot, Wazirabad , Layyah, Gujranwala, Faisalabad,  Lahore, Peshawar and Haripur.

Cases have been registered at respective ANF police stations and further investigations are still underway till the filing of this report.
