ANF seeks office space at Sadiqabad Export Terminal for examination of shipments

MULTAN: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has requested Multan Dry Port Trust (MDPT) for provision of space at Sadiqabad Export Terminal for staff detachment.

Deputy Director Anti-Narcotics Force Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah has requested Multan Dry Port Trust through letter that anti-narcotics force needs office space for performance of their routine operations.

Ministry of Narcotics Control, Police Station Multan was asked to provide space to Anti-Narcotics staff for their examination operations at Sadiqabad Export Terminal.

General Manager Multan Dry Port Trust Lt. Col. Muhammad Awais Butt has decided to allocate two rooms to Anti-Narcotics Force for their office and living purposes in the Sadiqabad Export Terminal.

Chairman Multan Dry Port Khawaja Muhammad Jalaluddin Roomi has approved the decision for allocation of office space after comprehensive discussion for Anti-Narcotics Force for examination of export shipments.

It is pertinent to mention here that exporters filed several complaints regarding the de-stuffing of shipments for examination purposes carried out by Anti-Narcotics Force and it also causes damages of their export goods.
