ANF seizes 113kg heroin from Karachi ports

KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 113kg heroin from containers at Karachi seaports, an ANF spokesman said in a statement.

The spokesman stated that the ANF, following a tip-off, had enhanced monitoring at seaports in Karachi.

Officials, during inspection of containers, seized around 113kg heroin, which was stashed in packages of edibles, the statement read. A suspect was also held during the ANF raids. The spokesman added the seized cache was worth over Rs700 million in the global market.
