PESHAWAR: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested a smuggler and recovered 46 kilogram heroin during a successful crackdown near Goods Adda, GT Road, Peshawar. The accused was identified as Gul Met Shah.
Sources told Customs Today that the ANF team intercepted a Toyota XLI Car and recovered 46.6 kg heroin which was hidden in the fuel tank of the vehicle. It was intended to be transported to the Punjab.
After initial information, another accused named Muhammad Shahid was also arrested from nearby area. The ANF team has seized the drugs and further investigation is underway in this regard.
