LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) deputed at Lahore airport has foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin to Italy.
According to sources, during checking process, the ANF team intercepted two passengers who were identified as Shaukat Ali and Safdar Ali and recovered capsules fill with heroin from their stomachs. Both the passengers injected seventy capsules each and tried to fly to Italy.
The Anti-Narcotics Forces arrested the accused and shifted them to undisclosed location for further interrogations.
