Annual Gamescom event is set to be doozy once again, with Microsoft kicking things off tomorrow

TOKYO: The annual Gamescom event is set to be a doozy once again, with Microsoft kicking things off tomorrow. The company will be holding its conference at 4pm CEST on Tuesday (4pm SAST as well).

So what should you expect from the conference? Fortunately, Microsoft already revealed some Gamescom titles earlier this year.

The firm said that Quantum Break, Scalebound and Crackdown are just three eagerly anticipated titles set to receive attention.

Other confirmed games at the event include Forza Motorsport 6, Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

We’re also expecting Microsoft to showcase its Xbox One Elite controller, some more indie games and the upcoming Windows 10 update for Xbox One.

The Redmond Company is eagerly working on getting backwards-compatibility ready in time for the holiday season, so expect preview members to possibly get a software update on this front too.

Should we expect a few unannounced big hitters or more details on titles announced at E3? Here’s hoping so…
