LAHORE: The Special Court of Anti-Narcotics Force Lahore (ANF) has sentenced two women smugglers to five years imprisonment each in heroin smuggling cases.
According to details, the ANF officials informed Customs Today that a woman drug smuggler, Salma Nazo, was involved in 4.8 kilogram smuggling of heroin. The ANF investigation team presented a challan against her in the court. After hearing the arguments, the court sentenced her to jail for five years. The court has also fined her Rs 23,000. In case of failure to pay the fine, her jail tenure will be extend for one month.
In another case, the ANF presented a challan against Mumtaz Bibi who was arrested in smuggling of 4 kilo gram heroin. The court in that case also sentenced her to five years imprisonment and Rs 23,000 fine.
Anti-narcotics team presented her before the court of Abdul Jabbar Khan with complete interrogation challan. Anti Narcotics court in its verdict announced 5 years jail imprisonment and Rs 23,000 fines to culprit.
