Anti-Narcotics Court announces nine-year jail to each of two drug peddlers

LAHORE: The Special Court of Anti-Narcotics Lahore has sentenced two culprits to imprisonment and cash penalty in drugs selling.
An accused Haider Ali was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force from a nearby area of Kot Abdul Malik Lahore in drug smuggling. The ANF recovered four kg heroin from his possession. The ANF registered a case against him. The ANF prosecution, after completion of investigation, presented a challan against the accused before the court which sentenced him to nine-year jail and Rs96000 cash penalty.

Earlier in a verdict, the Anti-Narcotics Court announced nine-year jail and Rs96000 fine to accused Umer Faruq. He was also arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force in drug selling. Five and a half kilograms of heroin was recovered from him.
