Anti-Narcotics Court sentences drug smuggler to two years imprisonment

LAHORE: The Special Court of Anti-Narcotics sentenced Yasir Rasheed, a drug smuggler, to two years imprisonment and imposed a fine of 20,000 on him.

According to details, ANF team arrested Yasir Rasheed and recovered 1.8 kilograms of heroin from his possession. During the investigations, proofs and witnesses were enough to prove his crime before the court.

After the trial, the court sentenced Yasir Rasheed to two years imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on him. In case of failure in payment of fine, he may face more jail imprisonment as well.

The ANF presented a complete challan before the Court after the recovery of 1.8 kilograms of heroin from his possession.
