LAHORE: The Special Court of Anti-Narcotics has awarded jail terms and imposed penalty on two culprits for their involvement in drug selling.
According to details, accused Mahmood was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force in 2014 for selling drugs. The ANF also recovered heroin and charas from the accused, and presented him before the special court. After trial, the Anti-Narcotics court sentenced him to one-and-a-half year in jail and imposed a penalty of Rs 30,000. In case of failure in payment of fine, the culprits will have to spend another month in jail.
In another case against accused Muhammad Hameed, allegations were proved against him, so the court sentenced him to four months in jail and ordered him to pay Rs 20,000 fine. In case of failure in payment of the fine, he will face a jail term for another month. Hameed was also arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force.
