Anti-Narcotics Court awards two-year jail sentence to drug peddler

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Anti-Narcotics awarded two-year imprisonment to a drug peddler namely Saleemullah as he confessed to his crime before the court.

As per the details, Saleemullah was involved in selling drugs in the area of Band Road Lahore. He was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force in 2014 red-handed. The ANF team had also recovered a huge quantity of heroin and opium from his possession.

After investigation and completion of the challan, ANF presented him before the court where he accepted his crime and said that he was ashamed of his act.

After his confession, the Anti-Narcotics Court ordered to send him to jail for two years and also imposed a penalty of Rs 15,000.
