MULTAN: The Anti-Smuggling Organisation has seized smuggled goods and vehicles worth Rs 25.51 million in February.
The Anti-Smuggling Organisation has seized nine non-duty paid imported vehicles worth Rs 8.1 million during February. The seized vehicles includes Toyota Corolla, Mitsubishi pajero jeep, Suzuki Alto, Toyota Hilux Surf and Toyota Land Cruiser.
Anti-Smuggling organization conducted operations in the three districts including Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sadiqabad.
Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Multan has seized t beauty creams, mobile Phone accessories, silk cloths, engine oil, ceramic tiles, used tryes, Furnace oil and high speed diesel oil during various anti-smuggling actions.
Anti-smuggling organization is doing its dire struggle to curb smuggling in the region. Collector Sarfraz Ahmad Warraich has relocated almost 15 officials of anti-smuggling organization to take stern action against smugglers. The effective strategy of MCC Multan gave fruitful results to curb smuggling.
